with tender indifference,

WIP visual album, 2020

Written, performed, filmed, cut, mixed, and produced by Sophia Stopper

Spoken word sound recorded by Eric Capper

The text recorded in this visual album derives from the nonlinear diary Sophia Stopper kept while living in their room of leaves at the artist residency Deliceiras 18 in August 2015. Sophia spent the first three weeks of the month collecting fallen Autumn leaves in two suitcases at sunset filling their room with them more and more each day. The text was written as stream of thought throughout the duration of the performance installation. The culmination of this installation was presented at the exhibition Why is the Universe so Large, Flat and Full of Structure? alongside artists Maja Renn, Jan Rybák, Alex Perry, and Ania Zu.
